Registered in England & Wales · No. 16374191
A London-registered private limited company operating in online and mail-order retail — sourcing, curating and shipping goods directly to customers.
The Charleston Mercantile Ltd was incorporated on 8 April 2025 and is registered at 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. The company is active and trades as a private limited company under the laws of England and Wales.
We sell through mail order and internet channels, with no intermediary retail layer between the catalogue and the customer.
Products are selected for quality and durability rather than volume, and reviewed before they enter the range.
A company registered at Companies House and subject to UK company law, reporting and filing obligations.
Our registered nature of business is SIC 47910 — retail sale via mail order houses or via the internet. In practice that covers the full chain of an online retail operation:
Identifying suppliers and negotiating terms for the product range.
Listing, describing and merchandising products for internet and mail-order sale.
Processing orders, packing and dispatching goods to customers.
Handling enquiries, returns and after-sales questions.

Software we design, build and maintain — desktop, mobile and web.
An all-in-one point-of-sale and stock-management application for building-materials and hardware stores — caisse, stock, suppliers, customers, orders, production and statistics in a single desktop application. It runs on the shop's own machines: one PC can host a shared database on the store LAN so several cashiers work on the same data, or a single PC can run standalone with an embedded database and no server to install. It ships with a catalogue of over 20,000 building-materials products so a shop is productive on day one, is fully bilingual French / Arabic with right-to-left support, and keeps the till running even when the network is down. Business data stays in the shop.
A native Android and iOS companion to the Drogix desktop ERP, built in Flutter. The phone pairs to a till over the store network and works against the shop's own database as the single source of truth — browsing products, checking and adjusting stock, and scanning barcodes on the shop floor. It also produces paperwork: tickets, devis, réservations and reçus are raised on the phone and sent to the paired caisse to print, since the thermal roll lives on the till.
Further mobile applications are in progress, built on the same Flutter foundation — carrying over the shared design system, offline-first behaviour and barcode workflows proven in Drogix Mobile. Details will be published here as they ship.
